  1. Hi, it’s me again ^^ So the Elite Seal that promises an above average (possibly even Legndary) warrior has sealed skills in story mode, but not match up mode? That’s what you’re saying? Did the priest you bought have good/high stats compared to a regular warrior’s seal? I’m trying to decide all the pros and cons here ^^; I have one last question for you: have you bought an unseal scroll yet? I wonder if Com2us hopes to bilk players by making them unlock their skills with a scroll after buying an elite warrior seal. I’m also none too keen on picking up an unlock scroll that’s no good in story mode.

        I’ve had fairly good luck with the stats of the Mercenaries in regular play mode; the problem I have is that they suck in the skills department *unless* their stats are below normal, which seems like a fairly normal payoff. However, it has been pointed out recently in the forums that you don’t have to do Battle in Match Up Mode if all you want is to get your swag.

        I would have sworn there was an announcement about the Adventure’s Shop in the forum, but I can’t find it.

        I think that Com2Us is going the MicroTransaction route to make money, and that’s an Ok thing by me. Apparently Facebook’s Farmville made something like half a billion that way. I just wish that they had clear descriptions and stated limitations.

        Elite Warrior’s Seal Vs Warrior’s Seal

        Hello Inotiamates..

        I’m thinking if its worth it to buy an “Elite Warrior’s Seal”? Is anyone here know the difference/s between Elite Warrior’s Seal and Warrior’s Seal (Drops in Game)? Do Elite WS can have ALL SKILLS? Unlike in WS its really hard to find 9-10 skills available..

        Elite dont guarantee a better one.. It only gives a higher chance..

        There are people spending more than $10 to just to try to get a very good merc..
        so it’s up to your gamble and luck for it i guess “

      • Lol at you… You simPly have to go to matchup mode to REDEEM your elite merc… Which is the useable in story mode. Simply reading the item discription would clarify this.

      • Which is why I changed the description of the Adventurer’s Shop above and re-replied to that comment stating my apology and how to use an elite seal.

        The description of an Elite Seal, unless it has changed, does NOT say, ‘Go to Match Up to redeem only. You don’t have to fight if you don’t want to. We just want you to go to a specail place.’ It DOES say, “Take this to the match up mode innkeeper to hire a powerful mercenary whose skills and abilities excel that of common mercenaries. There is a small chance that you will receive a Legendary Mercenary.” (Text as in game 7/1/10) Which is different than the text description originally used in March 2010, which said, “Use to summon a mercenary more powerful whose skills and abilities excel that of common mercenary. There is a small chance you will recieve Legendary Mercenary.”

        I will point out, again, that at the time I wrote that (April 2010), Match Up Mode was still deleting/corrupting game files when you tried to switch between Match Up and Story modes, as documented in the official forums. Since I’m not a PVPvert, I saw no reason to risk a game going into a system I had no intention of using, and I still don’t. I don’t like that Com2Us has forced me to use a specail game mode to redeem something I paid for. But then, that’s also why I started this.

    • Hey all, I’m glad to see Inotia 2 finally has a decent looking walkthrough put up; I played it last year around this time and had to beat it the old fashioned way. . . Now that the ranger class has been put in (For some time now) I’m making another team to finally beat all the 8 dungeons. (Previous team: Thief, Mage, Priest)

      The priest in my opinion is a must-have class considering all the buffing skills they have available once you get a good one. You should get it alone for the fact that it has a skill that can increase your critical % by up to 50% (if I remember right) for a period of time! Definite winner for those tough to beat bosses.

    Nope, too bad you have sold it. You need to go to the Match up tavern to activate it but once you have the merc he/she will stay in your team in story mode as well.

    Elite has usually 8 skills while the dropped Warriors have 2-4 skills only. I don’t see much difference in the stat points though.

    One more thing: Warrior merc will not be able to learn sealed skills through the skillbooks. Elite will.

      Odd about the Warrior Merc vs Elite. Only one I’ve tried the Unlock scroll on so far has been my B team Priest.

      I’ve tried Match Up Mode since that experience, and will include commentary in tomorrow’s update.

      I would still like them to be clearer which items are Match Up usable “only.” (their word after all and it is misleading)

  3. yeah…how do i even get an EWS? and also, at the top of the page it said “To the right, you’ll find links to my growing list of Quests, Maps, Classes, and Combinations.” where???

      To get an Elite Warrior Seal, go to the Adventurer’s Shop under the menu options while during game play (the dragon icon in the lower left hand corner > system > Adventurer’s Shop is the fourth option down). Each seal costs $0.99 and can only be activated in Match Up Mode.

      Looks like the widget was inactivated. I’ve readded it and will change the text in case that happens again. Thanks for bringing that to my attention 🙂

  4. hey..cool walktrough but umm..i cant get to reania to go to the elf village or to toria..to the dwarf village.(for the hamer destruction quest)

    its seems all the ways to get there are blocked, may i get any help plz

    • It depends on what quest you’re on because the areas unlock based on where you are in the main storyline. To get to Reania, you have to complete “Hungry Creature” & “Creature’s Favorite Food” (found on this page) to clear Perone Hill. Once in the Elf Forest, you do “Reania Entrance” (found on same page above).

  5. oh so now i got to reania but it seems the way to toria is also blocked with rocks…now???hope you can help

    • Now you visit the village elder, who’ll send you to do the goldfish quests, and when those are done, he’ll have another one for you to do. His last quest will ask you to go to Toria. When he does that, he’ll mention that he’s sent some people ahead to clear the way for you. When you get to Toria, the way to the next city will also be blocked and you’ll have to do essentially the same thing.

      I think a Templar would be a good compromise for heavy hitting and healing. For myself, I’d get a priest. That’ll mean you have three DPS characters. The priest will hopefully only be used for healing, but that’s no reason to limit your options. Try both and see what you like 🙂

      • thanks!! Now i am level 20… I have a magician and a templar buit the thief keeps dying and it is SO low leveled now so instead I got a Knight. Yay! Thanks for your advice!

  9. Hi! I am trying to get to Sage Garnel & Alchemy Advice but Eastern Deuroren is blocked by guards & I can’t seem through Locknus sanctum as it is blocked by blocks. I read in your guide that you went back after you unlocked the eastern door of Dueroren. I am pretty sure I have completed all the quests so far & the ones I have to do are Alchemy Advice, Back to garnel, Infiltrate & demon mop up. What can I do to get past this. Thanks for your help.

    • Some bad news, Durga. The quest line you need to finish is the “infiltrate” quest set. Once you get to the Master Craftsman telling you that he has a package for Garnel, the blocks should be gone. I know they disappear before that, but I can’t remember exactly when (something to remember to note when I play thru again)…I think the turn in of “Report” to General Bronzebeard, which is the last quest of that line, may be it…

  10. Hello. I am lvl 26 and have a Magician (primary), Knight and Ranger. I am stuck on alot of quests. Some of them are “Back to Garnel” and “Alchemy Advice” and I cant seem to get to the Aren because rocks are blocking the way to the tunnel to get the map that a villager in a small house right next to Aren ordered me to bring.. Help is requested,

    • I think your best bet is to back track. Make sure you have “Erard’s Activities” from Captain Turujeu of Toria, otherwise he won’t talk to you when you walk towards the rocks. I’d say wait on back tracking to Garnel just yet. Once you’ve done Aren, you’ll have a quest from Linea that will ask you to go talk to Sage Garnel. Then either back track to his hideout East of the Red Woods, or complete the quests to unlock that area (listed in another comment reply).

      If you have the quest from Captain T, make double check your level. I think the lowest I got in was 29, with my PC at 30.

  11. While half asleep one night from playing this game for too long I bought about 10 Elite Warrior Seals and didn’t get a legendary. I know it’s my own fault but I spent nearly twice what the game cost to buy on Seals and didn’t even get one that I can use, let alone a Legendary one, so I’m curious to know if anyone has gotten a Legendary Warrior Seal yet? If so how good was it? So far I have been sorely disappointed with the Elite one’s I have bought, I know they are random but except a priest and a knight none of them have been much good to me

  12. okay, so i got out of the prison/dungeon, and im at Aren (which btw has no people in it -.-) and i dunno what to do next. help??

    • Aren won’t have people in it for a while if ever during The Plot. Go to the Aren Villager “hide out” and Deuroren to turn in your quests and get more quests. You won’t be able to go to Red Woods via East Deuroren until Captain Bronzebeard says he’s done with you.

  18. Helo qwill ummm iam having a problem. The game it seems not working ihave installed somany times. It seems to lagg along the game and after iclose it and play it later it won’t start it just shows black screan then it goes back to my itouch app screan what do ido this is like my third account that I have to delete becouse of this stuiped problem. It has realy good combinations and I do not want to lose it pls help me man. This is like lastt chance thx and pls tell me wat I should do if u get back to me thx again.

    • Generally, when I’ve had trouble with lag, it’s been when I’ve had less than 400 MB free on my iPhone. Since this sounds like a software problem, report the problem to Com2Us. They do read their emails and should get back to you within 48 hours.

    • I had this problem too.. But don’t worry, it can be solved… Just follow these steps:

      1. Open a game which will also run your music player in the background.. eg, angry bird..
      2. Then jump to springboard without closing the running application.. (multitasking)
      3. Open Inotia 2..
      4. Then before the main screen of the game loads, there will be an option window pop out asking whether to allow your MP3 player continue playing… Choose OK..
      5. After that, wait for some time for the main screen to load.. (I’ve waited for 1-2 minutes, sometimes more)
      6. At last, your game is playable again..^.^

    • Hmm. No, I mean megabytes, like back in the 90’s. The game seems to use about half a gig as “virtual RAM.,” so less than that lags the game.

      You have 5.4 gigabytes free? This would be the only thing on your iPhone then (assuming you are on an iPhone, not an iPad).

      In order to check your free space without plugging in to a computer, go to Settings, General, then About. It will have your free space and what version of the OS you’re running (see below).

      Generally, the symptoms you describe have been currently experienced by people who have hacked their iPhone, the game, or have been flagged as suspected of the same.

      In the past, (roughly February/March) similar problems (black screens, inability to load the game) were reported after using Match Up Mode. The reason if I recall correctly was because someone used a hacked game in Match Up Mode and something in the code of the loaded party caused an error that stayed locked in the saved game data.* The remedy was to use a reinstall point for the iPhone (for all programs). I’ve done that for other programs and didn’t lose game data. If you’ve just done the most recent update for the iPhone 4.0.1, it should do that automatically. The problem with that is the reinstall will be of the corrupted data present before the system upgrade.

      *Saved program data doesn’t seem to get wiped from the iPhone unless the program is deleted in iTunes.

      Since you are experiencing these problems, it could mean that a new hack has been uploaded, which is why, if you haven’t hacked the game or iPhone/iPad, I think you should let Com2Us(www.com2us.com/forums or http://global.com2us.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=18 according to my mobile browser) know. I know they sometimes drop by, but contacting them directly is faster and more likely to garner an answer. Unfortunately, you likely will get some heckling on this issue (Internet VD. Ha ha?). Best I can say on that is ignore the jerks.

  20. Thx. Well my iPod is hacked ( jailbrocken before maybe a week I did go on match up and that is when problem begain) so I should upgrade iPod in cedia to 4.0 genration and I ent lose all data I have?

    • I haven’t hacked my iPhone so I don’t know if you’d lose your data, but I would recomend updating the OS anyway, since Com2Us did an update (last week i think, can’t find patch notes) to match the most recent Apple OS.

      In similar problems, Com2Us has recommended saving your game data to the Com2Us server and reinstalling the game. (load game. on main menu choose Settings>(Data Backup) Save to Server) If this doesn’t work, they will want your Network ID, which i absolutely don’t want to know. Other info that would be useful in reporting this- you said you’re using Cydia as your OS, what version? What kind of iphone do you have? (My assumption is iPhone 3 as it’s still most popular right now) What version of Inotia2 are you running? Current version is 1.1.4. Is this problem ocuring in all save slots or just one?

Could u pls report the problem o them tell them start up scrrean shows black and the game laggs when you reach certain parts like Elf village and from there time u fight monsers like dark elf and up. Becouse I think it’s new bug I only had problems with it when I went to match up moad like u said before other accounts np but this is first. So ya thx man

  23. Umm haken is sword is where u fight the first of the genral the sanctrium place it’s in the middle 3rd room u will find his ghost kill it and it drops sword then u get the sword. Sorry not sure which genral if it’s right hand or left hand he the first one in the game Ethel I think.

Hmm I got another question, hmm like I said before I have as main character a knight and 2 mercenarys a wizard and other knight all of them in lvl 28, but sometimes is hard to fight with them I need a priest but I only got a ranger lvl 24 in the innkeeper and a warrior’s seal of a Templar so I want to know if is better to change one of my knights for the Templar, or create a new character with a priest as main character and a wizard of mercenary or wizard as main and the mercenary a priest I don’t know who’s better if you can help me I’ll be very thankfully.       I haven’t heard from any Com2Us rep yet, but Inotia2 had a new version released today (1.1.5). I’m not seeing any version update notes again, even on the iTunes site.

  27. Helo cecox me no expert but I think best party is night as main, wizard, and priest I played with all and found this is the most powerful party in story snd match up moad. What I usually do igrind a lot level them up when I did hanken quest iwas level 52. So play with all characters experiment and see which ones work with u. But it would be best to have mage and priest in one of them. Best grind in the begging would be Orc cave where u find Orc hero and exc drop lots of worriers seal 1 hour find like 3-6 . If luck high then better drops like my fav highest ether combination. Hope this helps.

    • Again, I agree with Mohammed. I think for the party you’ve described, getting a priest would be better than starting a new party.

  30. what class is the best? for a mage is it good to have a summoning? i cant find the exotic plant i need a map of the maze forest but i cant find it. andd what levels should u be to face the weapon oraculas or something like tht ( troll quest)

    • I’m still working on a map of the maze. For Mages, it really depends on what you’re going to use them for. I like having summoning (and the support skills for summoning) because it gives me a back up tank in my “regular” party and a main tank in my party that doesn’t really have one. I’m biased towards Priests, but I think that what really makes the best game experience is a balanced party. My Knight/Priest/Mage party is doing very well, as is my Priest/Mage/Templar party. If I hadn’t said I wasn’t going to use the Mage/Priest combo again, I’d say that a Mage/Priest/Ranger party should do well, since they’d have a high Damage Per Second ratio.

  31. Ok so I have just started off in in dureoun or something if that sorts just got done with the hammer quests and I have two Templars I kno bad choice but well it happened lol I seem rather. Weak even tho I’m lvl 26 on both Templars I was wondering us there a way to get a third charector without using real cash and if so what charector should I get? Thanks guys
